CAROL OF THE BELLS
Hark how the bells, sweet silver bells, all seem to say, throw cares awayChristmas is here, bringing good cheer, to young and old, meek and the bold.Ding dong ding dong that is their song with joyful ring all caroling. One seems to hear words of good cheer from everywhere filling the air.Oh how they pound, raising the sound, o’er hill and dale, telling their tale.Gaily they ring while people sing songs of good cheer, Christmas is here.Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas, Merry, Merry, Merry, Merry Christmas. On on they send, on without end, their joyful tone to every home.Ding dong ding… dong!
DO YOU HEAR WHAT I HEAR
Said the night wind to the little lamb
Do you see what I see?
(Do you see what I see?)
Way up in the sky, little lamb
Do you see what I see?
(Do you see what I see?)
A star, a star, dancing in the night
With a tail as big as a kite
With a tail as big as a kite
Said the little lamb to the shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear?
(Do you hear what I hear?)
Ringing through the sky, shepherd boy
Do you hear what I hear?
(Do you hear what I hear?)
A song, a song high above the trees
With a voice as big as the sea
With a voice as big as the sea
Said the shepherd boy to the mighty king
Do you know what I know? (Do you know what I know?)
In your palace warm, mighty king
Do you know what I know? (Do you know what I know?)
A Child, a Child shivers in the cold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Let us bring him silver and gold
Said the king to the people everywhere
Listen to what I say! (Listen to what I say!)
Pray for peace, people, everywhere
Listen to what I say! (Listen to what I say!)
The Child, the Child sleeping in the night
He will bring us goodness and light
He will bring us goodness and light
CRAZY CAROLS
Music teacher looked outside, Elizabeth is her first name. See the snow is falling ‘bout, my friend said it, they’re to blame. Maybe school is over now if it keeps on snowing. Seems I just can’t concentrate when the wind is blowing. Bring me shovels, bring me plows, bring me snacks and cocoa. See if streets are safe to play, kids like to be loco. If our power goes out soon, that could mean real trouble. Get the flashlights ready now and text me on the double. Yes the sky is darker now, and the wind blows stronger. No more school our district said, we have class no longer. Time to log off and shut down, time to cuddle tightly. Yo, we missed a half a day, what we wish for nightly.
Joy to the world, my shopping’s done with just an hour to spare. There’s perfume for my mother, a necktie for my father. Didn’t think I had a prayer, didn’t think I had a prayer, didn’t think I could finish with an hour to spare. Joy to the world, my shopping’s done with just a dime to spare. A bathrobe for my brother, a bracelet for my sister. Didn’t think I had a prayer, didn’t think I had a prayer, didn’t think I could finish with a dime to spare. Joy to the world, my shopping’s done!!
IT’S A MARSMALLOW WORLD
It’s a marshmallow world in the winter, when the snow comes to cover the ground. It’s the time for play, it’s a whipped cream day, I wait for it all year round. Those are marshmallow clouds being friendly, in the arms of the evergreen trees, and the sun is red like a pumpkin head, it’s shining so your nose won’t freeze. The world is your snowball, see how it grows, that’s how it goes, whenever it snows, The world is your snowball just for a song, get out and roll it along. It’s a yum yummy world made for sweethearts, take a walk with your favorite girl. Whoo hoo. It’s a sugar date, what if spring is late, in winter it’s a marshmallow world.
JINGLE BELL ROCK
Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock. Jingle bells swing and jingle bells ring. Snowing and blowing up bushels of fun, now the jingle hop has begun. Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell rock. Jingle bells chime in jingle bell time. Dancing and prancing in Jingle Bell Square in the frosty air. What a bright time, it’s the right time to rock the night away. Jingle bell time is a swell time to go gliding in a one-horse sleigh. Giddy-up jingle horse, pick up your feet. Jingle around the clock. Mix and a-mingle in the jingling feet. That’s the jingle bell, that’s the jingle bell, that’s the jingle bell rock.
