“Hanukkah” means dedication in Hebrew, and the Jewish holiday, also known as The Festival of Lights, represents joy. It’s a eight-night display of dancing flames atop candles representing warmth, comfort, and in Hanukkah’s case, a miracle.
Over 2000 years ago, Jewish people weren’t being allowed to celebrate their beliefs. They fought against the oppression and won the battle. The temple had only one jug of oil after the fight but that jug was a miracle as it lasted for 8 days and 8 nights. This is the miracle of the holiday of Hanukkah.
