Music is a subject that is shared across the world. It is considered a universal language. In our language of music, we use a certain system to record music that we create. We use different “notes” to show sounds with different lengths.
Today, we are going to use food to explore the lengths of the notes: whole note, half note, quarter note, and eighth note.
1. Watch and enjoy the video.
2. By using food (cookie, waffle, fruit, pizza etc) or if you’d rather, paper, make at least two notes. See in the video that I made whole notes, half notes, quarter notes, and eighth notes.
3. Take a picture of your creation and send to Ms Perryman at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Take good care! Miss you!! Ms Perryman
