Thank you for your interest! We are in the process of selecting our chaperones for our “Music 

In the Parks” Dorney 4th Grade Chorus Trip on May 29, 2026 (8:30am-9pm.)

Read the information below and submit your request via email to be a chaperone no later than Wed March 14th.

To Be Considered:

  1. PAYMENT DUE:  Chaperones pay as do the students,  This fee is subsidized by chorus fundraising and includes the park ticket, meal voucher, and festival shirt.  If selected, your payment is due Wednesday April 15th. 
  2. MANDATORY MEETING:  If you’d like to be considered to be a chaperone, mark your calendars now.  ALL chaperones must attend the 7pm in person chaperone meeting on Wednesday May 27th in the Judd music room.  We will be completing necessary trip tasks. We can only run a trip of this scope with a meeting so we are prepared for Friday. Do not submit a request if you think there is any chance you won’t be able to attend.
  3. SUPERVISION TIMES: Chaperones stay for entire trip from morning arrival until all students are picked up at night.  Chaperones may not leave early or arrive late.

  3. Confirmation of live mandatory chaperone meeting (Wed 5.28 7pm Judd Music Room)
  4. Name 3 or more qualities that make you a good chaperone choice.
  5. Let me know if you can drive.  We will need some parent drivers.

CHAPERONE PAYMENT $90.00

  1. Payment includes the following fees: park, transit, food voucher, and t-shirt.  
  2. The trip has been subsided in part by chorus fundraising.

CONSIDER the following information before you request to chaperone:  

  • Chaperones supervise approx. 4 students on trip; no student may be unsupervised. 
  • You may be combined with other chaperones when we reach the park. 
  • All chaperones will be given a specific job; announced at the chaperone meeting.
  • Student groups will be created from classrooms with Judd admin/teacher assistance.
  • Students will be granted one student choice from their classroom. 
  • You may/may not chaperone your own child.  Every student must be chaperoned. 
  • If selected to chaperone, you will be notified by Wednesday April 15th.
