We’re excited to share that Judd will be participating in the Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day this Thursday, November 14th. Sponsored by the Ruby Bridges Foundation,who offers guidance and support for the younger generation to promote a more peaceful and harmonious future. The walk began with an inspiring inquiry from AAA School Safety Patrollers at an Elementary School in San Francisco. Nearly 60 years after Ruby Bridges took her courageous first steps toward integration, these students learned of her bravery and decided there should be a day to honor her legacy. Their efforts led to California officially recognizing Ruby Bridges Walk to School Day each year on November 14. We invite our Judd Elementary family to join us on Thursday at 7:30 AM on the Tennis Court to walk together in celebration of Ruby’s legacy. Please wear purple to show your support, and enjoy the walk in Judd Comfort Wear! Together, let’s honor Ruby Bridges and her mission to create a more inclusive and compassionate world.
