Our voice is inside our throat. Our body is our instrument case. We carry our voice everywhere we go. Life can be hard and our voice can be affected.

What can you do if your voice is tired and scratchy?

How can you take care of your voice?

1. Rest your voice. Talking and especially yelling can be really hard on the voice. Whispering isn’t good either.

2. Get some sleep. Being tired makes our voice tired.

3. Drink water. Make sure you aren’t thirsty. Add lemon and honey.

4. Colds and allergies are difficult on the voice too. A neti pot and humidifier will help.

5. Hot tea with lemon and honey is helpful too.

6. Steam your voice.
