Recorder Order! #20232024

IT’S JUDD 3RD GRADE RECORDER TIME!!

My name is Ms. Perryman. I am the general/choral music teacher at Judd School.  I look forward to an exciting musical year with your child! All Judd School 3rd Grade students learn to read music by playing recorders during their music class.  The New Jersey Music Education Standards include:  learning to identify and read musical notation, performing in a musical group, and beginning music composition.  3rd Grade Students bring the recorder with a strap to wear around their neck to music class each week for instruction. Students will begin to learn to read music and play various songs in music class. We will begin recorder instruction in October. Recorders are due by October 6th. Email with any questions (eperryman@nbtschools.org.)! =)

  1. BUY FROM MS. PERRYMAN: Buy a recorder/strap from Ms. Perryman.  Bring $10 in cash to school in an envelope with your name on it.  Choose a recorder and strap.
  2. BUY ONLINE: Google “soprano recorder” and “recorder strap.”  There are many colors online.  Generally recorders bought from dollar tree or five below do not work well.
