TRYOUT FOR A SPECIALTY PART IN THE 3/4^TH GRADE MUSIC ON OUR SCHOOLS CONCERT “TAKE THE J TRAIN” ON FEBRUARY 1, 2016 AT 8:15AM!

 

PICK ONE:

TONE CHIME PLAYER:  Be a good listener and make a nice sound on the tone chimes.

VOCAL SOLOIST:  Be able to sing Happy Birthday by yourself.

ACTOR/ACTRESS:  Be able to read the parts  at 8:15am on Monday Feb. 1, 2016.

 

TRYOUT SCENE

ACTOR 1 I am so excited for our performance tonight!

ACTOR 2 We are going to sing songs about our favorite ways to travel!!

ACTOR 3 I prefer to travel by boat and catch some rays on the way!

ACTOR 4 It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s super ME!!!

ACTOR 5  Umm…I think you meant Superman.  Anyway, I like cruising in a car.  Let’s go from NJ all the way to California!  Yeah baby!

ACTOR 1 I’ll take a train ride any day.  I just love to watch the world go by out of my window.  It puts me in my happy place.

ACTOR 2 We have a song just about that as well as some very important things planned for tonight’s concert!

ACTOR 3 We will raise our voices to the lights!

ACTOR 4 With dance with moves that are really tight!!

ACTOR 5 Our songs have melody, harmony and pizzazz!

ACTOR 1 Don’t forget our hand signs and all that jazz!

ACTOR 2 The tone chimes will make our night complete!

ACTOR 3 Performing for you tonight will be such a treat!

ACTOR 4 How do you make a tissue dance?
