THE JUDD SCHOOL 4/5TH GRADE 2018-2019 SCHOOL PLAY WILL BE:
Fiddler On the Roof is a famous Broadway show about family, traditions we share, young and older people, falling in love, and changes that happen to us in our lives. There will be all types of characters to play in our play, from funny to serious. What kind of traditions does your family have? What are things that you do every year? Do you and your friends share different traditions? Fiddler on the Roof is a story about the milkman and his family in Russia. The milkman is a father to a large family. He strives to keep up the traditions of the Jewish faith and culture against many challenges.. The family struggles with whether the children should have a pre-arranged marriage or the opportunity to find their own love. Tradition, conflict, humor, love and acceptance are the main themes in this story. There are many wonderful songs to sing in this show. Our 4/5th grade choruses will sing these songs with the actors.
Fill out this form, practice the scene, and bring it to the audition on Monday September 24TH @ 8:15am.
